i disagree. clapton's burst had old growth honduran mahogany that's not really available any more. that wood was a 100+ years old before it was...
I think acme is the best I found for my needs...awesome service and quick build too.
don't lose any more sleep over it. having a bad preamp tube is one notch more serious than breaking a string.
If you traced your problem to the rectifier tube, get a new one. While you're at it, tube dampers have worked great for me
i'm not getting any squeals from my el cap powered by a PP2+
i never use it
The Timmy has always been my last dirt pedal. It's a great tone shaper
wolfetones are awesome! i got a set of drVs in my les paul and a marshallhead in my s-s-h build. great pups and great guy.
i love my WW10. mine has a quartersawn maple neck and braz board. i also prefer a rounder radius than 12". i also like the feel of relics...but...
mine is as soft as a soft case can be. if you were forced to check in your board on a flight, i don't think your pedals would be very safe.
i'm using an expression pedal with my el cap with great results. i'm better with that than with the tap.
You should try pigtail. My pigtail bridge has no play on the saddles, intonates perfectly, sounds great, and is light weight.
Overwound throbak pickup... It's the bet PAF style pup IMO. Get it slightly overwound like I did for my charvel and it'll be tough to beat
and i thought i was a hendrix fan! :beer
That's a crack
start with the pickups first. i think they'll make the biggest difference.
wren and cuff's "box of war" is based off of the sovtek "civil war" muff that gilmour used in that era. i know you want to stay with the actual...
my guess is keep the inside 2, but i'd call bad cat.
wow there's a place in germany with over 15 chambered R8s? i think that's more of a selection than any one store here in the states.
i like covers all around too
i have no problems with either
i got this set in my dano and it's the sweetest tele pups i've ever had.
TADs are nice. i really like the SED winged =C= for new production. They're my favorite all around.
no rattle here.
