Nice. Anyone have any idea what kind of guitar he was playing?
Joe's customer service is top notch.
That's more than Joe charges new. :messedup
Problem solved. Shipping without any kind of packaging is a huge no-no. IMHO you got lucky that the amp still works perfectly.
Depends on the extent of the work required. Are the frets already installed? Is the body routed? Is the headstock shaped? There's to many...
My experience was the same.
I've ordered several mesa's before and never had to pay shipping. It's already built into the dealers selling price.
Agree with this!
I've had both a Morgan AC20 and the Vox. I preferred the Morgan when playing with a band, and the Vox when playing by myself.
I like it as is.
Another vote for Gord here. i've seen some of his work and it is top notch!
Killer! I love it.
I have the Empress Tap Trem, great, versatile trem for live work.
Gibson Les Paul Jr VOS
I would also say the mesa lonestar. I have had morgans, and they are amazing....but where they really shine is in a band setting. They sound...
It probably does, I personally am not a fan of the scumbacks, due to a issue I had.
Joe's got great ears, I would go with his suggestion. Although I might try a Greenback with a Alnico Gold, or Weber Silver?
ps. I always run mine at 100w. With the loop engaged, you can get great bedroom levels at any wattage.
I have a friend in a local band that uses the LSS, while the other guitarist uses a Maz. In the live setting the LSS eats the Maz.
Neither of those offers will give you the vox sound you desire, hold out for something else.
What speakers are you running it through?
I hope you can work something out with the store that sold you these!
sounds to me like a tele neck pickup through a voxish amp.
