Jeez, what a weekend.
Doing the couch tour this weekend
The Celestion Gold is the most popular speaker in a Princeton and for a reason. I have one in mine and I can’t imagine ever replacing it.
I have a Pro Reverb and a Twin and they have essentially the same, for lack of a better term, "loudness". The difference is that the twin sounds...
That’s a go, I have a Cali series Strat and a Tele and love them, I would pay $550 for Fiesta Red and rosewood all day long.
Live DMB stream on YouTube
As much as I despise it, the girls seem to love Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.
Everything you need can be found here, I used their stuff on my LP Standard.
My opinion, you can experiment but it won't help much. Pulling a pair of tubes helps you run the preamp hotter and get more breakup at a slightly...
I’ve followed this tour closely, watching every clip out there multiple times and was at Gillette on 7/22. It’s apparent to me that John is...
I remember him saying in an interview that Althea is the song that started His journey, he heard it on a Spotify playlist and was immediately hooked.
The JRad video of Althea with John Mayer is excellent!!
Saturday night at Gillette!
I have a pair of Eminence Lil Texas in mine, they are never coming out.
Clipped bright cap?
Eminence Lil’ Texas is what I have in my Pro Reverb, knocked a good 10 pounds off and they sound incredible.
Depends on what you mean by issue? Looks to me like somebody was too lazy to unbolt the neck to adjust the truss rod. If the price is right, I...
All of my amps get either an EVM-12 (or derivative) or an Eminence GB12 -- I keep it simple.
My buddy drives a Lincoln Town Car on the weekends. We once hauled our PA, monitors, cables, two guitars, a bass, a bass amp head with a 410 cab,...
It’s too bad none of the speaker companies have offered a take on this one yet, they are tough to find and go for big bucks when they come up for...
Jon- I’m not in Peteyvee’s league when it comes to A/V tech but given your options I find that the middle option, Q7 in your case, usually offers...
I set all of mine to movie or cinema mode and call it a day. Those modes usually have a close to pro calibration right out of the box.
I used both the MS-12 and EV when I had a Boogie. The MS-12 is about as close as you can get to the EV so I would try a G12-65 before trying the 12L.
Monster picker, as a kid, I loved watching him and Buck on Hee Haw.
