    NGDx2:Ted Stevenson

I got to visit Ted at his shop. He re-fretted my 1997 Peavey Wolfgang with Stainless frets at my request. He is also doing a re-fret and some work on a 1983 Ibanez Artist I own. I will update when I receive the Artist. Here are some pics of the Wolfgang. It plays amazingly well !!!

Delay after reverb and micropitch vs. delay in parallel to reverb and micropitch

They all sound cool. The reason I switched to a desktop mixer is to be able to experiment and play with different combinations. If I was doing a live rack with my Mark L mixer, I would go all parallel or micropitch//delay and reverb in mix 2. But, you can make cool sounds with other...

W/D/W....with or without dry in the wet?

No . I can run stereo or WDW ,Dry or no dry in the wet cabs. I have run stereo in my bar bands before and will likely again for ease of setup and FOH sound . I have run WDW. WDW is the best. When you have your fx coming out the same speaker as your dry, you lose some of the rawness and punch of...

    H8000fw routing and wet/dry mix

I had the Eclipse and kept it. I use both sometimes. It is easier if I want to use say, H3000 for chorus,Eclipse for Delay and H8000 for reverb or PCM81. I bring up a preset on each and use the mixer. The Eclipse sits somewhere in between the H3K and the H8K. I love the Eclipse. Italo's prest...

    H8000fw routing and wet/dry mix

I use the more purist approach. I experimeerimented before settling on this setup. I prefer parallel 85-90 percent of the time. When I use some serial, it is usually a little ,not complete serial. With the mixer ,I can send some of the fx to the others, up to three as I am using two aux per...

    The Tristereo Chorus Recipe

You Got It ! The RST manual is only a quickstart guide. I couldn't find the complete one. Can you send multiple MIDI commands on one preset other than PC commands ? You can use CC#0 to select the Bank.On my Liquid Foot, I would send: Message #1----Ch#5----CC#0 Value 065 Message #2----Ch#5----PC#...

    The Tristereo Chorus Recipe

Yes. So on your foot controller, you can send more than one PC on a preset correct ? So you send the preset you want on DSP A on channel 5 and the one you want on DSP B on channel 6. Don't forget Omni mode has to be off.

Hi Mentoneman, Page 125-126 of the Operations manual deals with your question #2. I can only offer a guess for question#1 as I have never had the good fortune of playing with a 2290..LOL Maybe Baud rate difference with older unit ??? Hope this helps.
