I got mine about noon today. Oh my! I haven’t felt the need to plug it in yet. My initial impression is that it’s everything the regular LC is, with a bit of I30 thrown in. It feels like a living thing.

It’s not something you see often. It like an SJ, but with a little less bass and a little more balance. It works well for just about anything, but would excel at recording, I think.

Well, wouldn’t you know it. I’ve been looking for a Collings I 35LC Vintage in Faded Cherry and one showed up in Houston over the weekend. Sadly, this one will have to go to the Emporium soon.

Well, I’m joining the club. A new faded cherry showed up in Houston and it’s on the way to me. Ive played regular LC’s love the I30. My expectations are high. I’m gonna have to sell the 0002H Maple I just picked up.

NOT owning an expensive acoustic would make me nervous. I’d be missing out on so much.

At Montreal 1982. Just watched this afternoon. Unbelievable musicianship, and not just from Jaco. All those guys were incredible. Adding the steel drum made it so different, and Othello played it like no one I’ve seen before. Well worth an hour of your time even if you’re not a jazz fan.

Some cool tunes have been posted, but some of ‘em sure ain’t bluegrass.

I played bluegrass festivals for years. What a blast.
