Hi all, I thought I'd respond to the questions about our custom queue. We paused the queue in late 2019, when the number of custom orders coming in was getting out of hand and we had to limit it. The impact of the pandemic has been that since we have a really small workshop, Saul's had to work...
I produced the Wilco documentary, and that wasn't forced or faked.
Yeah Howie Klein had just left Reprise the week before the band delivered the record. So I think the A&R staff that was left at the time just didn't get it, and the label didn't want to spend the additional money to market and...
Thanks all! Fu Manchu.... oh man I totally forgot about those guys.
I ended up taking a lot of your suggestions, and threw in some MC5 (which also works very well for this).
Cheers!

Doing some fuzz pedal testing tonight which got me thinking about fun rock songs to play that feature massive fuzz. There are obvious ones like "Satisfaction" and "Summertime Blues" etc... but what are your favorites?
Cheers!
Here are a few more photos of the Kombi. It'll be released by Koll this summer, pricing and details coming soon. Saul is designing a custom handle for it, and there might be a few other cosmetic tweaks too. But we really love how it looks/sounds.
Hi all! Saul and I are super excited to be releasing the first Koll effects pedal. Saul has been a hardcore pedal buyer and user (usually overdrives and distortion) since he bought a Little Big Muff when he was 13. So this is a long time coming.
But we wanted to let you know that our first...
It's been a while (like six or seven years), but I was able to haggle on a vintage acoustic I found at GC. Like any large chain, they're focused on turning over the inventory, monthly sales goals, etc...
Good luck!
UPDATE: SOLD
Presenting this 2012 Koll New Rose custom hollow body. In near mint condition, this black beauty was built by Saul with the body outline of our New Rose acoustic archtop model, but at a thinner 2" depth similar to an ES-335. This is a one-of-a-kind build, the only Koll like it...
Thumbs up, I had a nice one of these with a '60 Junior double cut. But I've always wondered why no one makes these anymore? Seems like there would be enough demand from vintage guitar owners for new, vintage-spec alligator chipboard cases? At NAMM last year I went by the booth of a Chinese case...
Congrats! This is one of my favorite builds of Saul's. The pickguard and truss rod cover material is from an old industrial light fixture covering, like something you'd see in a public school or at the DMV. And the gold and copper leaf has a thin layer of nitro over it, the leaf will continue to...
In addition to the Black Strat and its flight case, Irsay also bought DG's main acoustic, the 1969 Martin D-35 for $1.1M. So he dropped $5.245M total yesterday...
I gonna guess the new owner of the Black Strat will be the same person who buys its road case, which is being sold as a separate lot just before the strat.
Any guesses on what this Nash tele is going to go for???
