Basically under $600 US, electronics, 14 fret. Know the usual Martin 00X1AE, Epiphone EL-00. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Watching thread, have begun same search (including budget; that Eric Skye model has at least an extra 0 in the price...)

Here's Duke Robillard playing a Bourgeois L-DB0, a new model for them this year. I got to play a couple in April and they were very nice.

The L-DBO Bourgeois is nice, but likely over $600 US

Robert......best L-00 under $600 I found did not have electronics...but I picked up a K&K mini for it. Not easy to find, and probably need a set up to your liking....Recording King Rnj-25. Check it out on you-tube, ;)

Do you have a preferred scale length and nut width? I really like 24.9" and 1 11/16" on 00 guitars. If you don't require those exact specs, take a look at The Loar LO-16 and LH-200.

Right now I don't have preference scale, I just haven't played enough acoustics to have a preference. I've always played electrics and like Fender and Gibson scale guitars equally. I have compared an Epiphone Dove and Hummingbird and slightly preferred the Dove which is 25.5, but the body woods are also different. The LH200 with the electronics options is appealing,... but,...

I have also been on the hunt for a used Gibson ES339. I have tried a number of these and never found one I didn't like. I've had a Casino Coupe for a year and the body was made for me. Last week, one fell out of the sky at a price that well cause the least damage to my pocket book $1600 Cdn ($1235 US) here in Edmonton. I have tried it and it is great. Has all the right specs, '59 neck, Tobacco Sunburst. Original owner, 2007. And OMG, the finish is so beautiful on this. This is the most I have ever spent on guitar and I am now on retirement pension, but this was one of those "You Only Live Once" purchases, and I decided I better do it now. Likely the only one I'll make.

But an 00 size acoustic is in the future. Just gonna have to wait. My "0" sized Fender CP-100 parlor will do for now. Thanks for your suggestions
