    Hello TGP!
This is one of my "I'll NEVER sell this" guitars. But alas, life happens and I am in a mandatory downsize phase (moving for work). So here is my 2007 Gibson Custom Shop "R7" (or '57 reissue). No issues, no excuses, the best guitar I've ever owned (and I've owned quite a few). Completely stock, no mods at all. This was the VOS model, so it was made to look vintage I suppose. Weight is around 8 1/2 pounds. This was my primary guitar for about 7 years and has played on many great stages in Northern California/Bay Area (Bottom of the Hill, the Filmore, Crest Theater etc.) with a couple of different bands I was in. There some minor playwear, I'd call this a "light relic" You can see the pickup covers are oxidized, I like the look, but I suppose you could swap them out for shiny ones if it bothers you. Binding is yellowing nicely. Very light "buckle rash" on the back, hard to photograph. Starting to get a hint of forearm wear, but pretty minimal.

It feels, looks and sounds awesome, as a Les Paul should. I played through a few amps, mainly Fender Bassman and a couple of different Marshalls. Also played through tweed deluxe and occasionally Orange stacks. All sound epic. I particularly love this guitar for it's ability to have great dynamics but using the volume knob. Set your amp on the edge of break up, and roll back the knob to clean it up.

I am only wanting a local sale for now. I can have the guitar in the Sacramento area until 8/11 then in the SF/Bay Area after that. I highly encourage in-person inspection, I want you to LOVE this guitar as much as I have.

Ok that's it for now. Let me know if you have any questions! If you are looking for a killer R7 at a fair price, this is it.
TGP price cash in person is $2200

some interest, but so far it's still very much available :)

I'm located in San Francisco, just off Van Ness near the Tesla dealership.

Very fair price. An ex-Gibson employee posted that 2007 was a very good year for Gibson's stash of Honduran Mahogany. If I recall he said that that stash was the last of the Honduras sourced Honduran Mahogany, not the Fijian grown Honduran Mahogany used in subsequent and current production. It is internet lore but still interesting for what it is. Anyway, nice R7. Wish I had the moolah.
