1/4 or 3/8 for amp road case?

    1/4 or 3/8 birch wood for my amp road case? I travel in a van a couple times a year but mostly play at my local church. I handle my gear by myself usually...i'm thinking about going 1/4 would be good, what do you all think?

    Sounds like you'd be just fine with the 1/4".

    I went 3/8 just to be safe. I regret it every time I lift my amp into the truck... 1/4 is fine.
