Aliens from outer space show up tomorrow and clear the planet of most of its best gear.

Things are bleak. There is a silver lining...you can choose a single guitar, amp, and non multi-effect pedal.

Do you side with flexibility? Do you grab your ultimate dream rig that perhaps only does a single tone?

    What would you do?

Plug the guitar into the amp, discard the pedal?

Wonderful cleans, broken up dirt, hard rock chunk and searing high gain tones.

As a bonus, it’ll even let me play so quietly the aliens won’t hear me woodshed before my final but still grand ear splitting rift out...and subsequent disintegration at the hands of said aliens.

HSS Strat > Xotic Wah > Mesa Mark V > Hingeback 4x12 with 65/75 Creambacks

Aside from the wah, this setup doesn't contain my all-time #1 favorite gear, but you'd be hard pressed not to sound damn good playing just about any genre with it, assuming ya know the notes and how to hit 'em.
