Here's 12 of my favourite high gain amp models in the Axe-Fx III back to back in a track with real drums and bass. Same IR, same performance reamped.

To me for that modern arena chunk
I just don’t think you can beat a boosted Recto
    They just sound huge
    Other notable mentions
    Your Atomica and the HBE
    And MK2c+

I liked them all except for the Solo 100 and Recto 1.
Now I need to learn that riff....

I prefer Atomica. To my ears it sounds tighter. Recto 1 is the exact opposite - kind of loose and buzzy sounding.

That Herbie was my favorite, but I don't really think there was a tone that I did not like.

All kidding aside those are some great sounding amps. They all sound really good. I am thinking my favorites were the HBE2018 and the Skullcrusher. The Boogies sounded really good as well. The least favorite was the Uber.

That's a good point. Will have to do a follow up.

    Nice work once again Leon.

Loved your run through the Boss amp models on the GT1000.

Any chance you could do the same on the "real" amp models. Would love to hear how you dial in the Orange amp ( love Orange amps but I cannot seem to dial in Boss' version at all )
