Who currently makes a 15" speaker in 16 ohms?

(I want to experiment with an amp that's locked into a 16 ohm load.)

Ted Weber (Weber Speakers) has a whole variety of 15" options that can be ordered at 16 ohm spec.

+1 on Weber. Eminence doesn't seem to offer 16 ohm 15 inchers anymore.

I'd still look for a vintage JBL D130. But yeah, for current speakers, Weber's the man.

There was a JBL 15" in the Fender SRV amp that sounded great.

Oh, one more note on that - you could probably get away with using an 8ohm speaker. Legend has it that all the ones that JBL sold with 16ohm labels actually had a DCR of high 7s to mid 9s. I've never seen one that didn't fall in that range myself. And those speakers didn't destroy anything.
