The one I have been using for my old MJM60 vibe broke and I have been looking for one online. I had a Dunlop but the one the have now is a 1000mA. I heard that it same but read that over a 100 get dangerous. Any one still make a 18v with a low 150-300 range.

You have heard incorrectly.

The mA rating on a power supply indicates how many milliamps a power supply is capable of delivering before having problems.

The mA rating on a pedal indicates how much power it requires to operate properly.

As long as the mA rating on the power supply is equal or above the mA value on a pedal or group of pedals, and the voltage and polarity match up, you are fine.

Using a power supply that is rated at 1000mA will not be an issue as long as the voltage and polarity are correct.

The Visual Sound 1 Spot power supply is rated at 1700mA and it works fine for many people.

As long as the polarity is correct, it has the proper connector and whatever you hook it up to doesn't require more than 1000mA to operate, this one will be fine.
I run an MXR 10 band EQ and a Fulltone Fulldrive 2 MOSFET off of the power supply I linked to.

Agreed

It looks to me like Dunlop went from an old-school transformer to a chip-based switching transformer. Which is not something to be afraid of, it won't give any more power than the circuit actively draws unless there's some catastrophic failure.

Thanks guys, I read one post somewhere where they said 1000mA is the limit for low DC devices. I only run the vibe from it sot he idea of something being 6 or 7 times of the design spec just did not sit well. I have an old #350 MJM 60's vibe big ass box bright yellow that sounds perfect for RT DG n JH and would hate to fry it. The adapter barrel got crushed, it broke into parts upon removal. I was getting all sort of squeals at high volume and a lot of hiss so hoping the that's the cause. Found a NOS Dunlop on fleaBay so going to patient for once.

Thanks guys.
