1955 Les Paul

    A 1955 Les Paul. That's all the detail I know. A woman at my friend's father-in-law's nursing home sold one recently...for $1600! She owns several other instruments, all of which are in very good condition. Assuming VG condition, what might be a ballpark figure for one of these?

    mid 30 to low 40 grand, if very good condition, but could sit for a while at those prices in this market.

    20 grand would be a steal.

    1600? used historics sell for more than that.

    Don't know. I guess the price varies extremely based on model.

    Yeh, it depends ...

    That might be the going price for a beat up junior .....

    It would be a steal for a 55 standard.
