1958 Fender Tube Chart

    Note the changes made to the chart. Could this have been done in the factory ?

    It looks like they put the wrong (Using up old) tube chart on that one. Not uncommon for fender in those days. That amp is probably a 5F4, it had 6L6's but 2 12ax7's not a 12au7
    it dont think fender ever used a 12au7 in there amps. It think someone who owned the amp made the changes to the tube chart, because of the 12au7.

    Yes, Fender did that all the time when circuit changes were made. Leo wasn't going to waste paper. The Super was available with 6V6s for a short time ('56, '57 if I recall), then went back to 6L6s. I had one of those amps.
