He she is with her sisters, also all from 1959. They are lovely, grand ladies and only deserve the the best and to travel in style, comfort and safety!!!

Nice, but if it's my '59 dot, it gets a nice hardwood case! I would be more than a little concerned with such a nice guitar in any gig bag.

    Misleading title.

Expected guitar to be made out of leather.

    Disappointed.

Wow, those are amazing. I have a '62 ES-355 which I love. For my 335, I ended up having Ken McKay make me a '59 replica. I am now holding out for just the "right" '59 ES-345. Some day, some day ...

Sign me up for the 345.
Awesome little cluster of all the right stuff for sure.
Lots of group guitar shots around here, but this is the first pic in a while where I really had to stop and think about what I was looking at.

    So nice!!!!

    Anyway, OP, thanks for posting.

Wow-amazing collection. The one on the left is perfect as far as I'm concerned.

Awesome. Now you just need a 59 ES330 to complete the collection...

Theres a guy in my town who makes leather wrapped hollowbodies. They look cool, but sound about like you'd expect a leather guitar to sound.

I wonder if, rather than just gluing leather on an existing guitar like ConTac paper, would it be possible to get the leather itself hard enough to act as the plates for a semihollow? Maybe it would need to be intentionally processed right from the hide stage to get it that way, instead of starting with tanned leather.

OP do you ever feel guilty having 3 guitars that are so much alike? Love all of them btw, very nice.

Why would there be guilty feelings for owning beautiful guitars?

    :huh
