    Yes indeed!

Saw it on the TDPRI and had the same reaction.

    They sound great with everything.
I keep mine jumpered from Bright 2 into Normal 1 and plug my guitars into Bright 1.
Play with the Bass and Treble to your taste as well as the Presence.
The EQs effects your gain as does the Presence.
Don't forget to do this discovery with different types.

    Having a 12ay7 in V1 & V2 is important in mine.

Wow. That is the most amazing thing I've seen on a gear forum, I think.

Congratulations, enjoy it, put it to good use. Go and dirty it up, a bit, for heavens sake, so we stop feeling so bad about ourselves...

    Nice.

I have '57 and have owned a '59. Both retweeded and the '57 for sure has had the transformers replaced. Still a great sounding amp with or without pedals.

Well mine's not...MINE...i forcably extracted it from my bassplayer.
It had a EVM15B speaker in it, and Mesa STR12AX7's all the way across.

He was using it for bass...ugg!! Blew the original speaker and tossed it.
Hogy went through it for me, did a cap job, 3 prong cord and I stuck a weber ceramic in it. Probably should try one of the emi legends vicky uses.

So it's mine as long as I stay in the band. 10 years and counting lol

I'm evenly split between the 5E5A and the 5E3.

I have no need for anything else.

    I had a 57 narrow panel pro.
    Sold it for big $$$$$

    Regretted it ever since.

Best amp I have ever owned of played since the 70's.
    True sellers remorse
