This amp is fifty years old.

Circa 1965 Univox U42 guitar amp with tremolo. BUY THIS AMP if you want a blues amp that doesn’t need a pedal to get the grind. Add a pedal and it cooks. It starts off sweet and clear and breaks up fast. Back off on your picking to get the clean back; dig in for a dirty growling vibe. It does the job as a studio amp, loud enough for a jam. U42s are rare and hard to find but I’ve already done that for you.

Class A push pull, switches from triode to pentode mode; cabinet resembles a Supro-style black vinyl with a piping strip, 15h x 16.5w x 10d, black plastic TV handle, chassis mounted in the rear, three inputs (guitar, acc, aux), volume, tone, tremolo; Celestion G12-30MG speaker made in Ipswitch England also has a horn tweeter, the tubes are 12AX7, 6AV6, 6AQ5, 6X6; rated at 8 watts. JUST TRY TO FIND ONE OF THESE.
