Old wood + all new hardware = a player's dream

This original 1968 SG Standard has been outfitted with completely new hardware and pickups. The body and neck are in very good condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs -- just light overall play wear. At some point in this guitar's life it was stripped and refinished to its current medium brown color with some darkening on the guitar's sides, bevels and neck joint area. The finish is shiny and free from any major scratches, checking, etc., but I found it to be a bit sticky on the back of the neck (for my liking anyway) so I stripped the back of the neck and finished it with tung oil. Now it's silky smooth and plays great.

I've had a couple of inquiries about the neck dimensions.
The nut is the typical late 60's Gibson width: 1-9/16"

The depth of the slim profile neck is .82" at 1st fret and .99" at 12th.
