1973 Fender Jazz Bass---100% original down to the screws.....even the output jack looks original.
The pots and pickups date to 1973. There is the faintest green tint where the neck stamp has worn off. Very common for these years. You can still clearly see the inspection mark and the J. Torres stamp. Serial # is 424213. Has lots of finish checking, dings and scrapes.
The bass has been recently setup with DR High Beams .45-.105. Bass plays and sounds great. The original frets have been previously dressed. The frets are even and functional, but very low. The bass is fully functional as is, but down the line a refret would make a lot of sense. All electronics work perfectly. I truly believe this bass has never been apart. All of the wiring and solder joints look completely original. Also comes with the original case. All latches work, but some of the tolex is pulling up on the end. Comes with original ash tray and pickup cover as well.
According to my less than perfect bathroom scale, the bass weighs in right around 9 1/2 lbs.
This is really cool vintage bass that can be played and will still continue to hold it's value.

Feel free to ask any questions.

    $2,000 + shipping and pp
