1978 Strat tremolo replacement

Hello, gents!

Could anyone advise me, please, on 1978 Fender Stratocaster tremolos replacement options? I've bought a 1978 Stratocaster recently, but unfortunatelly not with the original tremolo. The current one is a piece of sh... causing both E strings running off the fretboard and also troubles with tuning

The original was likely a POS too - 1 piece.

I would not over think it. Fender or Gotoh GE101TS - or if you want slightly narrower spacing get the Gotoh 510 with Steel Block. Might need to do a little scraping to clear the arm mechanism on that one.

If you wanted to spend more - then Callaham is an option. I thought it tended to brighten up my guitar so the stock Fender went back in.
