I kinda thought that these guitars came w/ "T-tops"
But i came across a catalog that suggests "super humbuckers"
http://www.vintageguitars.org.uk/gib80p29.php

Has anyone heard of "Super Humbuckers" stock on Gibson SGs or any other Gibson?
Before I sold this SG, I swapped the bridge pickup.

I STILL HAVE IT T tops?? super humbucker? desirable?

it says: 595 1180

I'm guessing they are either Shaws or Dirty Fingers from Gibson....

I'm confused. Are you asking what kind of pickups a guitar you've already sold originally had in it?

I'm asking if anyone has ever heard of these "super humbuckers"
and if they're really just "t-tops"

Oh! Yeah, the super humbuckers came out late 70's-early 80's back when everybody thought hotter was better. They weren't. The T-tops were after PAF's and were pretty similiar in most ways to PAF's. The 'T' was simply a t stamped into the plastic so the pickup assembliers knew which side was up. The t-tops are good pickups and pricey these days.
