What speaker gets your vote for a lower powered amp (15-35 watts) and can cover great cleans and also dirty tones via pedals?

    does such a speaker exist?

please chime in with your thoughts.

    thanks in advance!

I recently bought an Avatar Hellatone 30, and I've been totally impressed with how great it sounds in my 1 x 12 combo. It's basically a stock Celestion G12H that Avatar buys from them and puts it through a conditioning process to break it in and sweeten the tone. Fantastic speaker!

You want a speaker that does it all? Me too.

I tried a few. The Eminence Governor ended my quest.

ASW - any of them, depending on preferred flavor.
    or
EVM 12L - heavy as hell, but clean. For cheaper option, I like the Emi Swamp Thang.

Love the Emi Texas Heat in my Billm-modded Blues Junior. Also put one in an Avatar 2x12 cab, along with a Hellatone 30. In all honestly, I like the Texas Heat the best.

true, true. but just looking for opinions from the seasoned pros here at TGP.

to narrow down my original post, I have a Carr Rambler and a Mesa LSS.

Actually, it's not a G12H, which is Celestion's higher end, made in UK reissue, but a G12H30, which is Celestion's made in China 'Anniversary' model.

    Good speaker, BTW.

Weber Blue Dog Ceramic. Pulled an Alnico Gold out of my Valvetech VAC 50 and was much happier with the Blue Dog. Also had a pair in my Valvetech Hayseed 30, loved them there as well.
