2 P90 wiring for lefty

I'm wiring a friend's lefty strat for 2 P90s, 1 volume, 1 tone and a 3 way blade. I wired it up and everything works,,except the middle position on the switch. There are 8 lugs and I wired 1,3,6,8 together and to the volume lug. I didn't string it up but tapped the pickups to test them. I should get a tapping sound out of both pickups in the middle position if everything works, right?

only if you used left-handed P-90s

you just need to follow a standard tele diagram. the two master lugs get the pickups themselves, then two slave lugs from each bank get strung together and sent to the volume pot.

I figured it out. I needed a jumper from 2 to 4 and one from 5 to 7. All is good in the world!
