No news here...just stating that after all these years this pedal continues to be one of the hottest drives out there...keep it up @analogmike !!

Great pedal and worth the wait - IMHO. Get the Prince of Tone to tide you over until the King arrives.

Not disputing the value of having the KOT in your rig. Sounds like a terrific pedal.

But at this point in my life, I don't even buy green bananas.

I guess I still have over a year. I just redid my board so I have enough now for a while, so hopefully, my name will be coming off the list as I'm getting bored and I forgot that I was even on the list. Will be a nice surprise.

Do you put your name on a 2-year waiting list for yellow bananas (-: ?

I have no clue how far away I am. I plan on keeping it that way or it’ll drive me crazy waiting.

It's my favorite drive pedal and IMHO well worth the wait. That said - I've got friends who despise it.

I’m a month or two out. Should be just in time for my b-day.

There's 25 of them on Reverb. It's a great pedal but I have no clue why anyone would spend over $500 for one.

Black one just popped up on GC for 350 used. Probably won’t be there long

Here's a question, if there was no waiting list, would people still want one?

i don't see the point either...it is awesome and yes it would be difficult to wait the length of time. that being said...$500+ (twice the cost from analogman) is pretty much top dollar for something that is STILL in production.

While most people are aware of this, some aren't so I'll do the PSA:

It is confirmed from Analogman that the Prince of Tone is virtually identical to King of Tone. So if you are really lusting after a KoT, don't worry! There are always 10+ PoT's available on Reverb for like $175 +/- $20. And if you must have the ability to have 2 sets of settings, like in a KoT - buy 2 PoT's!
