If you're local, just call and find out. either scam or killer deal.
im not local...and i dont have any guitar money...but thought maybe someone on here would like to try to find out...so if someone finds out report back!!!!!
My spidey sense says scam or stolen.
I've known plenty of people to sell their stuff for a quick buck. I bought an original '68 Tele on CL this month for a grand… and no, it wasn't stolen - the guy had a "great deal" lined up for a fancy snowblower and sold it based on a 10 year old appraisal. My guess is it's a Highway 1 with no case.
I saw a lefty American Standard Tele in a pawn shop last week for $299.00. I almost thought about learning to be ambidextrous. It was a little beat up but a deal all the same.
Yeah, I live in Athens and saw that on CraigsList. If I had the money to spare I would have sure investigated that!
I did a reverse lookup on that Ph# It's a WALMART
Paid $320 for a year old american tele a few years ago at a reputible local guitar store, it was perfect condition and that was with a case. so $200 not outlandish, they have 22 frets verse the 21 frets of the MIM or MIJ models, that was what I was looking for.
without pics we'll never know.
x2. Looks suspicious to say the least.
Listing was removed... Wonder why..
Crap, I live an hour from there and was about to jump in my car.
