A great year for the Gibson Black Beauty Custom Historics with a slick ebony board.

This one has had a professional head stock repair by RS Guitar Works some years ago. I also had a bone nut installed at the same time. You can see where it was cracked on the front to the right of the truss rod cover in the close up picture. I asked for minimal touch-up as it wasn't severe.
It is of course 100% stable with zero issues. (It makes for a great price though).

It has a few dings and dents which I've pictured. Overall very clean with no worming or rash, etc.

    9.4lbs

It has SD Antiquities pups (I no longer have the original pick-ups).

There were no COA's for this model Custom Shop until the following year.

A great playing and sounding tuxedo Lester for a great price. Super low action with outstanding playability. Sounds righteous too!

    $2,500. from 37814

That is beautiful. If the timing was different I would've been all over that.

Which year? And it seems such a tiny crack! Can you post a picture of the back of the headstock?

    It's a 2002.
There is no way to capture any trace of the crack on the back of the head stock with the piano black finish. It could be made to completely disappear without much effort, I just haven't had cause to. You can see it if you angle the guitar to catch the light just right as it is now.

Also I've included a picture of the long neck tenon I was asked for by PM. It's a great guitar.
