Does anyone know if a 2005 Gibson SG has tone chambers?
Well, you never know, but I'd think the body is too thin for chambers.
I can't imagine since it's a solid piece of mahogany.
Yea, they already are super light.
I actually have a 61 RI that weighs as much as my LP. First one this heavy I've ever seen.
I like 'em heavy.
My SG is heavy. well, heavier than other SG's I've played, and I like it a lot!
chambered SG's would start feeling like Hofner violin basses I think....
no chambers. Just a slab of mahogany. The LP chambers are covered by the maple top.
