There have been a few upgrades, all professionally installed, including:

- TV Jones Classic Plus pickups
- Sperzel tuners
- Tune-O-Matic Bridge

Also included in this sale is the original Gretsch hard case, original Gretsch FilterTron pickups, original Gretsch tuners, and the original bridge.
