    Here's my frustrating story...

I've been searching for the perfect R9 for months, and I finally found it the other day. Unfortunately, I spent way more than I should have, and have had "financial remorse" ever since I pulled the trigger. The guitar was delivered to my office a few hours ago and it's freakin' fantastic. I ran home for lunch and got to play it plugged in for an hour...I didn't want to stop. However, I just can't afford to keep it. So...as much as it kills me, I need to do the right thing for my family and list this thing for sale before I have a chance to get attached to it!!!

This is a 2010 R9 in VOS Iced Tea finish. I can honestly say that this thing looks about as authentic as I've ever seen a reissue. The coloring is perfect, the flame is really classy and prominent but not over the top, it's got some nice mineral flecking, and much of the hardware has been upgraded to complete the vintage look. Original parts were not included. Pickups are original to the guitar, so should be Burstbuckers.

    Upgrades include:

    - Dave Johnson aged pick guard
    - Area 51 aged tailpiece
    - Aged ABR-1
    - Aged Tone Pro vintage tailpiece studs,
    - Martin Six String Custom Aged Tuners,
    - Martin Six String Custom Aged Amber Toggle Switch tip
    - Martin Six String Custom Aged '59 Replica Gold Bonnet Knobs
    - Retrospect Exact 50's Replica Truss Rod Cover

Weight: 8lbs 4.6oz - And there's no lack of low-end balls here. Classic Les Paul thump at an incredibly gig-friendly weight.

Overall condition is excellent. There are a some minor scratches on the back and around the treble volume knob that are to be expected from normal playing around the house. They could even be part of VOS look, I'm not sure. Couldn't get them with the camera. No major scratches, dings, etc. Frets are in great shape with minimal wear. Neck is straight and I made a quick truss rod adjustment just to make sure it is functioning as it should.

Fretboard is REALLY dark and even. One of the best I've seen, and becoming much harder to find these days.

Neck profile is a nice, full C shape. Pretty much your typical R9 thickness and profile. NECK DIMENSIONS: .91" at 1st and 1.01" at 12th

The guitar rings like a bell and plays beautifully. Has all the balls you want from a Les Paul, with great punchy mids and high-end clarity as well. It's pretty much THE perfect R9 (at least to my eyes and ears). But I just can't afford to keep it. I'm heartbroken given how long I've searched. But, family finances come first.

    My loss is your gain.

SOLD!!!! plus actual shipping from 06409 and PayPal fees (or do PPG). I'm now losing money on this one. Argh! Not interested in trades at this time. I need some time to lick my wounds before I start looking again.

Price drop bump. Can't go any lower. Come get a good one!!!

BTW...I should point out that the edges of the burst aren't as dark brown as they appear in some of the pics. It's hard to capture. I'm not a fan of dark edges, and this one looks spot-on fantastic.
