Hi guys. I got a mojoaxe compensated wraparound bridge for my 2012 melody maker special. It fixed the intonation issues as advertised. Only issue is it is made to 50's spec, which is a little thinner than a modern one. The studs leave a gap, allowing the bridge to tilt up with string pressure and completely fall away without. I emailed the manufacturer, and he said this was fine, and it does play and sound good. I just don't like that much play between the parts. Seems like it would rob tone and/or sustain?

Mojoaxe was helpful, and responded right away. Im sure i could return it. Or get new studs. I was just hoping to not get in too deep, seeing how the guitar was only $400 new.

Any suggestions? Im mostly a fender guy, so not very knowledgeable about gibson stuff.

    Thanks
