Bridge pickup only (crunch) Green Ocean Burst

many moons ago (late '70s?), in my first trip to NYC I visited Manny's and there was a green burst les paul. It was twice the price of any les paul I had seen in NH. many dog ages go by, never saw another like it until the past 10-15 years or so. I'm kind of dyed in the wool traditionalist when it comes to gear but for some reason green gets me. There's one of those in my local GC right now with the zebras. Are they the 490/498 set?
