The one with the red 335 by itself is amazingly well photographed. Nice lighting.
Wow was that all in 2017 !
2017 was a great year.
'72 4001 (player)
2x EMS Synthi AKS
'69 SG Custom
'74 Tele thinline deluxe (factory bigsby)
'65 Firebird V
Some REALLY nice stuff in this thread--congrats to everyone!
Now that's one hell of a 2017 haul
Dude sell me one of the AKS’!
1900s Universal (Regal) parlor guitar, stripped and a bit rough, but it came back to being playable without much fuss.
1957 Junior, modified long ago with the addition of a 70s DiMarzio PAF style, which sounds beautiful.
1959 Melody Maker, it sounds great.
Kay Sherwood Deluxe, has some growl, waiting on a neck reset.
'66 Fender Mustang, sorry as this is the third appearance in this vintage section.
I love your '56, but it looks like museum grade compared to mine!

I gotta step up my game. This is all I procured this year.
I've been bottom feeding this year - got another Maestro Fuzztone and a couple of cheap euro 50s gtrs to tinker with and messed around with pickup swaps on others. Sold two guitars! Pondering my next move - vintage or PGK?
My only music related purchase this year (this year's "New Year's Resolution" was to only buy new stuff if I sold other stuff to pay for it...not happening next year!!)
1962 Gibson LP/SG
1959 Harmony H 62. It's a bit of a beater but it sounds great. I think at some point the fretboard was replaced and someone may have painted the front. I've reversed the pickups you see in these picks here.
I'm a slide player and I wanted an Elmore James sound and this certainly delivers it. The guitar has a huge fretboard and I've since angled the floating bridge to favour the treble side to help minimize the banging with the slide.
Fantastic! I'd love to hear a little Dust My Broom out of that thing!
59 335 in factory black
59 335 cherry stoptail
Wallace amps x 2
JTM45 + PA cabs x 2
JMP PA20 + cabs
The little yellow 50's Oahu lapsteel, and the '69 Vibrochamp in this picture. I got both of these this year. The other lapsteel and Champ belong to one of my best friends!\
Here they are in action...
Fwiw, both guitar purchases in '17 were brand new. That's way outside of my norm. A Collings D1T, and a PRS 22 classic semi hollow.
It was a good year!
Thanks for the heads up on these - I was not hip to them. Super cool!
They're in TGP, do a search against my callsign.
