2019 Gibson 50s LP P90 v 2018 LP Classic P90

Barring 2018 Classics with thin necks, there are Clsssics with a nice, normal sized neck isn't a baseball bat (which I don't love anyway)...

What are the key differences between these guitars and is it a major difference in feel and tone?

All Classics have the slim taper neck. The new 50s LP Standard has a fatter neck.
Other than that, they're both just Les Pauls with P90s.

I own a 2018 classic. Neck is pretty thin.

I think the thicker neck on the 2019 standard 50s/P90 is the only real difference.

2018 Classic has Grovers, 2019 50s Standard was Klusons.

Is that really it? Big difference in price so I'm curious if there's more outside of the normal individual differences among guitars.

They’re also blowing out the 18’s for the new model

Probably weight relieved as well on the 18 and some are rich lite boards right?
