Less of a problem and more of a solution ;)

2019 has been an active year for me. Settled on my pedalboard, sold off everything else (somewhat embarrassingly I can't even recall what this all entailed). Sold off all my guitars except one electric and one acoustic. 2020 could be even more interesting!

    In:
    - Helix Stomp
    - EB volume pedal (anniversary edition)
    - Digitech Ricochet
    - TC Polytune Noir 3
    - Temple Audio Duo 24 board
    - Numerous cables for all of the above
    - Strings, parts, pickups, etc.

    Out:
    - Fender 12 string electric
    - Jackson Gus G signature (in and out in 2019)
    - Custom tele snakehead
    - MIM Player strat
    - Squier strat converted to piezo only saddle pickups
    - Kramer Baretta Special
    - THR acoustic amp (in and out in 2019)
    - Numerous pedals (honestly, can't remember them all)
    - Whack of various parts, pickups, hangers, etc.

Hoping 2020 I'll be more focused!

This board is full of freaks! :rotflmao
Any time I feel guilty about blowing cash on gear, I can find someone MUCH worse prowling around here to put mine in perspective. :beer

I only bought or built two new guitars this year:
    • Warmoth hotrod roasted swamp ash Strat (3 rails, Babicz trem)
    • Jackson Soloist Pro SL2H
But I had two of my old faves refretted with 6100 stainless steel frets :dude:
    • 1990 Ibanez Universe UV7BK
    • B.C. Rich Eagle
    One cab:
    • Mesa Boogie Mark series metal grill 2x12 (vertical)
Sold several pickups I had removed from other guitars and some accessories. A fair amount more to sell in 2020 to get back to a more reasonable level. Although I realize I already have too many guitars, I just can't pass up a good deal and have been stalking several HARD since late Nov. :bonk

I did a lot of buying and selling in 2019. Without getting into all of that I can tell you that I'm ending the year with a Swart Atomic Jr. and a Classic 60's Telecaster.

2019 telecaster ultra in Texas tea (today!)
    Mij floral telecaster
    02 Les Paul Classic
    90s musicman axis sport
    Buttload of pedals

    Out:
    Mij floral telecaster
    Mij 62 RI strat
    Martin dx1
    Ibanez rg520
    Black mij Squier bullet
    Sunburst mij Squier bullet
    Slightly smaller buttload of pedals

In 2020 I plan on selling the axis sport, Silo w/floyd, Rg550, Rg520, possibly the 02 LP classic and a bunch of pedals. Might pick up a new strat ultra and some misc items like an interface, maybe a kemper or some other modeler.

It's been awesome experimenting. I feel like it's helped me hone in on what sounds I like and what I like to play. but gas is slowing and I'm more motivated to create and improve as a player. I just booked some lessons locally w/ Jennifer Batten and am looking forward to woodshedding. :dude

I love how dark that 60's Bourbon Burst LP Standard is! Seems like these can be anywhere from darkish red to almost black (Tobacco Burst) on the rim.

If I ever saw one like yours at a good used price somewhere down the road, I'd be very tempted.
