I went today. Didn’t guy anything other than a coke and coffee, but I saw Greg Koch, Andy Timmons and Philip Sayce play.

Saw a Dumble formerly owned by Keith Urban.

Going back tomorrow to see Paul Gilbert.

That's the amp cloned by Sebago Sound. I have one of them and it absolutely smokes! Bill had the amp for awhile and blueprinted it.

Went today. Had a good time hanging with some fellow gearheads.
Prices in general were absurd, even by today's standards.

Was great to see some very nice guitars by small builders. Played a few that were super high quality. This guy out of Austin had some tasty pieces that had me salivating.

Found a a couple of local amp and guitar builders that are doing it right. This one Jazzmaster shape, roasted maple neck, ebony fretboard, short scale, with versatile electronics, was so solid up n down the fretboard that I can see having a guitar built for me in the near future.
Played a Trainwreck clone that was everything I imagined a Trainwreck to be.
Clean to blistering with guitar volume knob, superb dynamics.

Good time for guitar gear choices, crazy time for guitar gear prices.

I almost fried that amp in Nashville. It was at Carter's and I was trying it out. The store guy brought it into the little closet where you try them and turned it on and let me at it. I couldn't get sound to come out of it, it was fully on but nothing coming out. After 2-3 minutes I told the store guy and he came in and started looking it over.

The speaker was unplugged from the amp

He plugged it in and it worked fine, I played it for 15-20 minutes. Monster amp but it was really bright. Most pics of it the treble knob is all the way off.

I got the Sebago Sound version and it is one of my favorite amps of all time. Lifer.

It was a great show for us. My buddies Tracy and Tucker (Scruff’s Vintage) and I had a blast. Thanks to all the fellow TGP guys who stopped to say hello.

We all found cool stuff to take home. Here’s the show haul.

Had fun on Saturday with my two other buddies. Andy Timmons' set was phenomenal. Such an amazing player. Ran into Sonny Landreth in a booth together looking at guitars and had a fun interaction with him. Had a great conversation with Terry at the Guild booth. What a nice guy and very helpful.

Best of all, I brought my '55 LP Jr for a potential trade towards something until I realized the market rate right now is > $10k !! What the heck is going on. Since I didn't find exactly what I was looking for, I'm for sure bringing it to the Three Amigos show.

Good show overall I thought. The surprise of the show for me was how many Peavey T-60's there were. Was not expecting that.

Never played one of those Marshall reverb units, I’ve always wondered how they sound compared to the Fender ones?

Thanks for sharing the photos, looks like you had lots of fun!

I went Friday, with a specific goal in mind. Unfortunately I did not achieve that goal.

The highlight for me was Thursday night at Toneshop Guitars in Addison. Greg Koch and Ken Haas put on a Reverend and Fishman clinic. A good time was had by all. They gave away a set of Fluence Gristlemaster P90s and offered 15% off all Reverends in stock.

I didn't win the P90s (already have a set so that's cool) but I did buy some of their Classic humbuckers. Sweet.
I'm definitely going to DFW this time next year.... I totally would've grabbed a blucifer Gristlemaster at 15% off!!!
