This is my 2013 Splawn Quick Rod with "Low B+" option and Splawn 2x12 loaded with Celestion Creamback 65's. There are 12 Studio and matching DI profiles. All 3 gears with both Gain 1 & 2, Clean and Boosted.

Here is a direct link if you don't feel like using the Rig Exchange.

If you DO want to use Rig Exchange, just search for "JerEvil". Hope you dig them.

Here is a quick clip showing the Quick Rod profiles with a few boosts.

The amp was on Gear 1, OD 1 with gain at 9:00. The boosts were just to add a little more grit. The Coven one sounds better with a guitar tuned real low but I like how these came out. Straight profiles on this.

These sounds are Gear 1 OD2 and Gear 3 OD1 - No boosts

There are some lower gain/crunchier profiles. These aren't modern high gain tones.

Ooo those OD2 and 3 ones sound especially nice... I'll be checking them out after dinner... I need to have my first rehearsal with the Kemper this Thursday. I'm still looking for my tight mid gain '80s/'90s rock tone.

Cool man! I hope they make the cut! Are you using FRFR or guitar cab and power amp?

Me too! LOL! Those "feel" most like what i normally hear live coming from the Splawn. With the Quick Rod, you really dial in a sound and the Gears give you a few different flavors of that sound. I am really happy to have had the opportunity to get these done and can't wait to really start digging in even more.

    Really glad you like them.

I am an FOH/IEM live kinda guy, no stage volume at all except for drums in my band... I setup my tones at home with a mixer and set of QSC K12s...

Your profiles sound good... I particularly like the OD2 tones, it's a good medium gain thing... Ill see how they do through our practice PA.

I haven't messed with the DI profiles yet... but not a bad first profiling session at all.. nice job.

Thanks! Hopefully now that I've seen it done there'll be many more to come. Looking at grabbing an MD421 to add to the mic mix.

Got to use these at rehearsal last night. The merged profiles work really well with a power amp and cab.
