Being brought up in the 80's I am all about different. I picked up both of these this week at a steal. Apparently keeping a wad of cash and exploiting people that need to pay their taxes is the way to go

    1. Pre-black Friday Fiasco bernie Rico Jr. Vixen deluxe, mahogany/spalted maple \m/oO\m/
    2. Luxxtone Calavery Alder and beautiful aged oil birdsey neck and blackened copper alder body

Like I said in the title, I grew up in the 80's. My playing attire consists of spandex and 3 socks and as much aquanet as my combover can handle .

They don't speak to me but that's the great thing about guitars...there's something for everyone! If they speak to you and inspire to play, I say go for it and enjoy!

I tend to buy small builders. They tend to remember guitars they built rather than being just a line item on a corporate ledger

I’m not a fan of guitars that could be used to impale someone.

    So I guess I like boring guitars ... ;)

... when you need a guitar that can do second service as a halberd—you know, when you have those kinds of fans—this is the guitar for you. You can play metal, rock, blues and then stab drunken attackers during the middle of the chorus.

Sweetness! The orange one looks like a comfy take on the Paul Stanley Washburn and the Hannibal Lecter mask V is just cool.

I appreciate and respect your opinion, but i definitely do not share your taste in guitars. I am often described as boring.

I like boring guitars. N#1 for me is an ash two tone sunburst strat, some are amazing.

I am more interested in what's being played on a guitar than in flashy style.

Congratulations. We don't have the same taste at all, but life would be dull if everybody liked the same thing.

Nice wood! Not too keen on the shape of the Vixen (my brother used to have a Jackson V years ago; he never had a case that fitted it and I don’t think a day went by in use that it didn’t get another ding on the end of the headstock or one of the tail horns!) but I can certainly appreciate that spalted maple. Enjoy!
