Does anyone know how one of these cabs would sound with my Superdrive 30 amp? Open or closed back? Thanks!

I've never played a SD through an Avatar but I would strongly suggest a closed back. I think it gives the Budda the bass it lackes with an open back.

I'd also think about 12" speakers

Closed back Port City Wave 2x12...Regular or oversized.

That's what I play my SD30 II with and it sounds to good to be true.

I second the closed back...My SD30 with the closed back wave has the low end thump that the SD30 combo was lacking.

Not sure about the Avatar (they don't ship to AK!!! :puh ), but a 2x10 cab can sound phenomenal. I'd go with closed-back, ported. I've got a Freda Live 2x10 for my Heritage Colonial that is just HUGE sounding. Amazing cab. Port City would be a great choice also. 12s are unnecessary in my opinion. YMMV!

I didn't know that Avatar made a 2x10 cab. Where is it on their website?
