2x10 OR 1x12 ??

2x10 moves more air.
BUT does 1x12 give better bottom end ?

i have a combo which i can get both ways.

edit:
i play tele - so single coils.
i like my clean, but like it 'springy and punchy,
second channel real chunky aggresive (not metal) OD/Dist.
I even run an Electo Acc thru the clean...

Also - what style do you play? Mainly clean or dirty?

In general I'd say that 2x10 doesn't get as nice a bottom end as 1x12.

4x10 on the other hand, smokes 2x12

IMHO of course.

JMO and all, but I prefer 12's with Teles. Heck, I've even got a Vibrolux here that I'm considering parting with due to the 10's and I already sold my Princeton. I just don't like the mid range of a 10 with a Tele, in general.

I have a black face Vibrolux. I like a single 12" extension better then the 2x10" inside. Richer warmer deeper. All that could just be the speaker and not the size I don't know and it would cost too much to prove one way or another. I made a 12" baffle and run that instead of the 10s.

I like 2 12 a lot.
Sorry ..not 2 10 or 1 12.

I have some 2 10 but.... it doesn't cut through
the mix for me. I prefer to use 2 12 or 1 12.

It's nice to have 1 12
and 2 12s.
