Anyone recommend any 2x12 cabs $400 and under for punk/modern/grunge?

Anyone try a Marshall MC212 or is that just total crap?

Any of the cheaper Randall 2x12s?

Lots of people say the Mesa 2x12 which I am comtemplating - just having a hard time finding one under $400 that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to ship.

What about the Orange Open back PPC212?

The Egnater TM 212 is a really good cab. Versatile too in that you can remove the middle panel for an open back sound.

I'm building my own, I really like V30s but you're in almost $300 in just speakers for a 2x12, and they're hard to find on the used market. I can buy a used Mesa 4x12 for less than I can buy a new 2x12 lol, I just don't need that big a cab.

I was going to just buy a new 2x12 but decided to build my own (I want to do a stained wood w/ a wicker grill). I spent about 150 in wood/hardware and 275 on speakers.

Geezer Sound makes a nice 2 x 12, look in their bargain bin for the best prices. I just traded a Mojo cabinet that was really nice too.

I had one of the Egnater 2x12 cabs that they sell at GC, and it was pretty nice. The Celestions sound good, and carry plenty of low end. The cab seems well made, and comes with the heavy duty slide-out casters, plus a removeable center back panel. It's a little bigger than most 2x12 cabs, which I think adds to the low end. All-in-all a good deal for $400.

you COULD buy a cheaper one like the BUGERA 2x12 cab $200
those 70w speakers are really awesome, as they come stock in the V22 and everybody loves them!

..or you could buy the cab and replace the speakers with Eminence or whatever.
    you'll be below $400!
