30 years later--STRAT

    in 1979 i bought a Antigua Strat new and played in a band--in 1981 the band Disolved and the strat went down the road--i always regreted selling it --this summer i found this Custim 2008 Antigua Strat and couldnt resist---the guitar is truely amazing--and it a KEEPER for sure-some pictures

    That is really nice - congrats.
    The funny thing is that I didn't used to like the Antigua finish, but for some strange reason, in the last year or two it now appeals to me.

    I love those Clapton's. That's one of the best Limiteds the CS has done.

    Nice - that whole package (maple board, Antigua finish) really works nicely. Makes me want to just pick up your guitar and play it!

    The infamous Antigua finish- for some reason guys either love it or hate it. Congrats as I am one of those who love it! I saw one of those when they came out at my Sam Ash where they had it behind a big glass case. I did not get to play it as I was in a rush and did not have time for the key and the next time I stopped in it was gone.

    Wow I am honestly a little envious in a good way for you as that is wickedly smoking and looks like the original owner never even put a jack in it lol. The Clapton sig has always been one of my favorite Strats, does it have the TBX and 25dB mid boost? I guess you will be up a little late tonight and then sleep like a baby lol.
