My new body arrived from Warmoth yesterday so I figured I would put it together even though the body still needs to be finished. I had the neck and pickups from a parts guitar I purchased but was never really happy with. This turned out to be an awesome guitar. Now I don't want to disassemble it to finish it. :jo

heh. You should though. that looks like Alder to me. Alder needs the protection of a finish. If it gets wet the wood will expand (to the extreme).

The body is actually Poplar but I think I'm going to put a couple coats of Tung Oil on it just in case. :AOK

Thanks. The neck is awesome. Feels as good as it looks. I am really impressed with Warmoth parts. :AOK
