Nice job, cool lick!
Still another Gem of a Lesson from the Generous Virtuoso ...
Thanks Jack ...
Very cool that you can figure out what he is doing and apply it to guitar!! I love Brecker, was fortrunate to meet him and talk once, and appreciate that you took the time to figure a cool lick out and show us!
Thanks again for your guitar playing knowledge, another gem of info.....thanks. :BEER
I can only echo what others have said, but I can add on a personal note that I've known some great players who were friends that still didn't or wouldn't take the time to show me ANYTHING when I was coming up. In fairness, I know they didn't mean any disrespect, they just knew that if I wanted it bad enough I would get it on my own, like they did. But this is great and the rest of us are fortunate for a pro educator/player to share even one lick (with explanation, not just an intimadting demonstration) so freely, at no charge, to boot.
cool lesson, thanks !
if I may...that shiny pickguard is a bit distracting
