Well, as soon as you add a master volume, your moving away from what a plexi is. That said, you might be looking at a custom build or modding an amp to get the fx loop. If you went up to 100 watts, the JCM 800 2203X (reissue) can get somewhat into plexi territory and has an FX loop.

1987xl (50w plexi reissue with loop), put a PPIMV in one of the speaker jacks.

Yeah, plexi-alike wasn't the best way to put it because of the master volume thing. Clean to crunchy and clear with guitar volume (strat), british flavor. Head, good serial fx loop.

Check out the deal Soultone has in the manufacturer's emporium. If I bought a plexi style amp, it would be that one.

Nik at Ceriatone will put an effects loop and a MV in a plexi for low dough. I bought one of his 18 watters. Great service and amp.

or get a Germino and order a Re-amp box from HO with an effects loop.

Soultone gives up the plexi tones easily.

Aiken Intruder. MV, loop and sick, sick Plexi-type tone. Bulletproof point-to-point construction too.

Top Hat Emplexador. Great Plexi tones, very usable MV, and optional loop.

The Aiken Intruder, as MightyGuru mentioned, is also worth checking out.

+1 with Soultone. Mickey's a super good dude!! How can you beat his prices for the quality and tone?

Great suggestions. If I can come up with the cash within the next 2 days ('93 Mark IV anybody?), then I will go Soultone.

    What about the badger 30?

Badger is in the ballpark, definitely brit-voiced. A Top Hat Emplexador 50 is a great option too.
