Any recommendations? I am looking to get one, but I have no idea what brands are best, and 50k seems a rather uncommon resistance level from the few I've looked at.

    Thanks in advance!

(If it matters, it is for a Dr. Scientist Bitquest).

Moog EP3 is 50k. I use Moog Pedals and use the EP3. I also bought a Pigtronics by Mission Dual EXP and had to have it modded to 50k.

The Yamaha FC7 (though it technically is a keyboard volume pedal) makes for a great expression pedal. It's sturdy, has a smooth and long sweep, and operates at 50kΩ.

I need a 100k expression pedal myself if anyone's heard of one
    (for a modded Systech clone)
Maybe I'll just have to mod a discarded pedal (like the ancient EB I have here)

Many expression pedal inputs are not sensitive to the pot value.

The Bitquest is based on the FV-1 which has high impedance control inputs. The 20k Pigtronix should work just fine with it.

Caveat: I don't have a Bitquest but I do have several FV-1 pedals and all work well with the 20k Pig exp pedal.

    regards, Jack
