'50's Strat Pickguard

    Who makes the most authentic vintage/relic looking '58 ish Strat single ply white pickguard. thanks!

    It would be a Fender CS shop pickguard, or a company that does celluloid nitrate guards.

    They're expensive, but authentic as you can get.

    Guitar Slinger Products has some nice stuff...I’ve always had good experiences buying parts from them.

    Fender made the best and most authentic ones ones back in the 50s

    Everybody has the 3 ply nitrate guards...I need the one ply parchmant 8 hole white pickguard...hard to find.

    I'm pretty sure the original 50's Fender pickguards weren't parchment. That said, I like parchment and I know that Warmoth has them...you might also look for an early Fender '57 reissue pickguard.

    Did you contact crazyparts? Their website sucks but if you contact them I’m sure they can make one if they don’t have it in stock...they have always been responsive and quick to ship for me.

    Good Miller (GM vintage restorations) has a Montreux 56 guard on his website that looks pretty nice....he’s a great guy and very accessible.
