After reading much praise about the 52 Reissue I finally picked one up and it's definitely putting some big smiles on my face. Those classic rock tones that I'm hearing in my head are now dancing off my fingertips and blazing through my amp. It was an early Zep festival at my house tonight. Even my 10 year old daughter thinks I rock.[IMG] [IMG]

I picked one up last fall, still in love with it. And I've owned a LOT of Teles.

I got one two weeks ago brand new and I'm digging mine as well. I tweaked the pup height at the recommendation of some forum brothers and that helped alot. Looks great and enjoy it!

Sweet, that's a combo that'll never get old.

My local shop had one, it was a real nice guitar. I love the fatter neck compared to my '62 AVRI.

    Congrats and enjoy!

The more I play it the more I appreciate it. In this case, simplicity works. I've had many boutique Teles that were better built (nicer wood, fancy tops, better fret dressing, expensive pups, 10,000 year old Mammoth bone nut, etc.), but this 52 RI has the tone that I hear in my head and have been searching for.

One of the best looking 52RIs I have ever seen. Is that an 08?

Thanks! I believe it's an 08, but I haven't pulled the neck off to confirm. There is a serial number on the bridge, but I haven't found a way to decipher it.

Congrats. those are really nice guitars

I have owned nuttin' but 1950s Teles over the past 40 years and in my opinion among current production Fenders, the 52RI is second only to the far more expensive Nocaster.

I'm going to be parting with my 52RI here pretty quickly if anyone is interested.
