I finally finished this Tele project I've been working on. I've never owned a Tele before so this guitar is really interesting. Weighs in at 7lbs even. Did the Nitro finish myself.
I'm taking it on a road gig this weekend to break her in.

All the parts are Callaham except the bridge plate.
    The pickups are Fralins.

The Body is a USA Custom. They finish sand for you before they ship it. It comes in smooth. The neck is an Allparts neck Tele Fat. 9.5 Radius one piece maple. I went with the Allpart to try one out. They are around $120 but the money I saved was lost on a nut install and I had to have the fret ends filed.

After I put it all together I had my Tech do the final setup. I have no faith in my set up abilities.

    Thanks guys!

    Good work, that looks killer!

Where did you get the Fender decal? Was the finish ReRanch? It looks great! Have you done many guitar projects?

There's lots of decals for sale on ebay.

Dave, was applying the nitro difficult? How long did it take to dry?

Don't buy the decals on Ebay. They suck.

There is a guy on the reranch forum named Charles that has killer decals.

The Nitro wasn't that hard to do. Sanding the nitro was hard. You get a feel for it. This was my 3rd project guitar but my first paint job.
The nirto on this one is thin as hell. There will be some natural relicing going on for sure.

I'm ready for a blond Esquire now!

Looks like it turned out nice. Very similar to mine. Actually I used the same exact stuff except I went Callaham all the way. Good job.
