5e3 schematic and supplies

Can anyone steer me towards some websites where I can find a faithful schematic of the original Fender 5e3 circuit, as well as a good website to order all the parts I'd need. I know I can just get a kit, but I imagine that I can build it cheaper without going the kit route. And hopefully be able to pick the parts that most closely match what the originals use.

Or am I completely out of my mind in thinking like this?

You can get the schematic and layout at Doug Hoffman's website. You can get a lot of the parts there as well -- chassis, tube sockets, resistors, caps, etc. Very reputable and ships blazing quick.

MANY places have reprints of the orig. schemo/layout, and sources would be Mojotone, Weber, Ceriatone to name but a few.

I'd get the chassis and cab from Mojo, and the rest from CE Dist, but that's just me.
